Knowledge about Vetiver as an effective anti-erosion agent is currently unknown to the relevant authorities in Burkina Faso. Through this project, we can ensure that this valuable technology and associated knowledge is introduced and disclosed to water authorities and other relevant organisations.

This will enable them to implement this sustainable and cost-effective solution in their erosion control programs within the Green Belt of Ouagadougou, the peri-urban environment and in the areas of 5 water boards.
