Goos den Hartog will become a director at the NWB Fund starting January 1, 2023, representing the water authorities. Since 1995, he has been involved in water authority governance. He started at the former Polderdistrict Betuwe and has been a board member at Waterschap Rivierenland since 2013. Den Hartog is already active in the world of international water projects. As a member of the Supervisory Board, he is involved with the Woord&Daad Foundation and is a board member of the Poverty Share Investment Fund. In addition to his work in the water sector, Den Hartog is an independent entrepreneur in the trade and production of nursing aids. He is married and lives in Ochten, in the river region.

With his knowledge, contacts, and, above all, his drive, Den Hartog aims to strengthen the board of the NWB Fund: "Water is and will increasingly become an important aspect in projects with regional partners in Africa and other countries. Through my activities and relationships, I believe I can make a valuable contribution to the NWB Fund."
